Dire Wolf for Birthday Week…

Okay, this was last April 26, oldest son’s birthday present. Commissioned this from my very talented friend at Sonofabeach for my son. My son is a huge Game of Thrones fan and wants a collection of the four main houses for his rec room (heads up for future orders, T!)

Below are the two he has so far. Fabulous, right? Thanks so much to T and his amazing artist wife. I also have three of the cutest seahorses that they’ve done. They can create just about anything you can dream up!

So today began birthday week in quarantine. It’s a little weird as we can’t go anywhere yet in Illinois, but we had a great take out dinner and chocolate chocolate chip bundt cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes tonight as today was oldest’s birthday.

Tomorrow is mine and we may just take a cake break as I’m attempting a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake for youngest’s birthday on Wednesday. We were able to scrounge up a single birthday candle in order to sing, which at least kept us from having to use an extra Advent candle from last Christmas…

But, sing we did and even though life is just plain crazy this year, the celebration continues.

Yay, Yay, it’s Saturday…

I’m so ashamed 😞

Monday Musings about Obsession…like Hauser

I can’t seem to find the post I thought I had done yesterday so maybe I inadvertently trashed it? I’m doing many things inadvertently lately, probably cause I’m not sleeping enough and I’m on Facebook too much!

I know I’m always behind, but I’ve just discovered Stjepan Hauser, a Croatian cellist who has been highly successful as part of 2Cellos for many years. He has recently released a classical CD on his own and posts incredible videos with Italian singer Benedetta Caretta who sings like an angel. They are seriously 🔥 together! I am officially obsessed…

Or this one makes me smile…

Where Am I?…

Every single day lately…

Yay, Yay, it’s Saturday…
