Once upon a time a lonely little fairy named Faelynn stumbled across woods filled with forget-me-nots, foxglove and ferns, sweet reminders of home.  Everything a sprite could want — except a friend.

Soon a human girl child with bouncing braids and bubbling giggles set out a tiny cottage and furniture that was, well, fairy sized!  Sarah, as the girl’s mother called her, played near the cottage every day and she was all alone, too.   Finally Faelynn grew brave enough to show herself.  Eyes widening, Sarah stared and Faelynn stared back.  “Want to be my friend?”  And just like that, they were…
