Yay, Yay, it’s Saturday…

The temperature is only going to reach single digits this weekend in the Midwest, so it seems especially important to remind people not to leave carbonated beverages in the car overnight!

  1. I remember doing that. Fortunately they were water bottles and didn’t explode. I felt pretty silly just the same.

    1. My stepson put pop in the freezer to get cold when he was younger and then promptly forgot about it! There might even be a partial water bottle in my car that’s partially frozen this morning — perhaps I should check lol

  5. And if they don’t explode(freeze solid), partially frozen is still flat!

    1. We use our attached garage as another fridge in the winter, but it can be too cold out there for some things…

  6. This reminds me of the time I was going to a church function with two apple pies on the passenger seat. Someone ran the light and T-boned me, spinning my car around. It acted like a centrifuge, sending pie all over the place. When I went to get the contents out of my poor vehicle, there was the strong scent of apple all over. The paramedics had to put blankets down so they could get in to work on me while the firemen used the jaws of life to get me out. At least apple and cinnamon smell better than Pepsi! Thanks for the good laugh!

  8. What a mess, I would hate my car to look like that, just as well it wasn’t milk, I had that happen to me many years ago, the stink of rotten milk, terrible.
