Powerball Update…

No, I didn’t win, but take heart, no one else did either.  Saturday’s drawing will be worth at least $435 million.  That boggles the mind, doesn’t it?

Powerball…

The Powerball drawing in the U.S. is later tonight with a single winner currently standing to win $375 million — minus about $100 million in state and federal taxes, of course…

What would you do with that kind of money?  I’d love to help everyone I know.  So when I win, please send me your address so I can put a check in the mail 😉

#atozchallenge, L is for Lottery…

Landon had just left for his 12-hour shift, so his call surprised Brittany.  “What’s wrong?” she whispered, not wanting to wake the month-old twins.  “Nothing, babe,” he assured her excitedly, asking if she could check Saturday’s lottery numbers online.  “The ticket was in my coat pocket.  I forgot about it until I saw the winner was sold at our Shell station.”

He read her the numbers on their ticket.   “My, God, Lan, they’re there.  Only one winner — $3.75 million!”  She started laughing.  “Come home!  Can you tell them you don’t feel well?”

“I don’t,” he joked.  “My heart’s pounding.  We’re freakin’ millionaires!”
