Seasons, a Limerick…

seasons-846051_1920

When we first met, I was spring, you were summer
We married soon after though you were encumbered
With kids you brought with, then we added our own
Now it nears autumn and all are about grown
If not for the grandkids winter would be a bummer 😀

Dark, a Limerick…

Fumbling in darkness, a hamper
No light, not a happy camper
But there’s an easy fix
No need for candle wicks
Just put a new bulb in the lamp, dear!

A Fairytale Limerick…

snow-white-468919_1920

With hair as black as night
And seven friends challenged in height
Asleep from a snack gone amiss
Awakened by her hero’s kiss
She’s the princess known as Snow White

Trust, a limerick…

Sending your child away to college is tough
Having to trust that you’ve taught them enough
They’re excited to be on their own
You can’t believe that they’re grown
Take heart, they’ll always need you — to buy stuff!

Friendship…a Limerick

The reasons that friends stay friends

On circumstances really depends

It could be they’re two peas in a pod

Or have separate interests, decidedly odd

But shared secrets are the best in the end!
