Me & JP, S is for Sleepover…

JP is our youngest grandson who turned five in September. IMG_1763He and his mom and dad lived with us while they were building their house a year ago. Though they’ve moved into their new house now, we still get to pick him up from preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays and spend the afternoon with him. Next year he’ll be in kindergarten all day. He’s so full of fun and remarkably wise for his years!

For Blogging A to Z, I’ll be sharing some of our many conversations over the last few years.  I hope you enjoy.

JP:  Nana, can I sleepover pretty soon?  I haven’t been over for a sleepover in a really long time.  I’ve only had like three sleepovers.  And one time I threw up!  (He did and you can read about that here!)

Me:  I know you’ve stayed over more than three times!  And what about the time you stayed here while your house was being built?  That was like hundreds of sleepovers and you even had your own room!

JP:  Nana, it’s not a sleepover if Mom and Dad are there!

(So, of course, he’s sleeping over tonight because who could say no?) 🙂
