Monday Musings about Family Time…

Yesterday we decided to do family game time — okay, I admit I pushed them into it, but we need distractions now! JP’s fave is Family Feud even though he’s only seven…

All was going well and we were laughing a lot, and then this question came up!

Q: What would you talk about more with your dad than your mom?

(I’m thinking sports, cars, girls, tools, building things…)

A: JP says, “How to steal money from your mom?”

(We have no idea where that came from! But guess it’s good he’d discuss it with his dad first 😂)

Wow, I would love to know where that came from.

      3. Yes… I hope this gets better soon. I’m sick of being in the house with the kids all the damn time! As much as I felt lonely before all of this, I did value having *some* time to myself. Now I have none. Not even at night after they’re asleep because they stay up at least as late as I do… and my daughter, at least, is up before me. Not a moment to myself! And I’ve been doing a lot of baking to pass the time so that’s not good for my girlish figure. LOL

      4. Oh me too! I even got yeast and made homemade hamburger buns! Yikes, never thought I’d write those words. I’m spending lots of time with Justin so my son and DIL can work from home but yeah, miss my alone time! But as long as we make it through this, I’ll put up with whatever

      5. I agree…. Have to just deal with it for now. And I have baked nothing involving yeast. For some reason that intimidates me even though I’ve done it in the past.

      6. I got some cause I was worried we might not be able to get bread but it’s been okay. Just getting sadder by the day…

      7. It really is. Today our favorite supermarket started limiting the number of customers they’ll be letting in at one time. I’m sure that will mean waiting in lines. It’s getting scary.
