I’m still seeing the chiropractor twice a week for my back. Next week we go down to once a week then once a month, I think. It’s definitely helping although the table that I love is not working right now and the replacement has not yet arrived 😦
Gosh, how I miss the traction table. The best week I had lately was when I saw the chiropractor on Monday and Wednesday and got a pedicure on Tuesday in the big massage chair, haha. Every week should be that fabulous!!
But today hubby took my car for an oil change and I had to drive his Corvette. (I know what you’re thinking, oh, poor Dee!) It’s a beautiful car and all but I don’t drive it much (cause I don’t want to have someone park close to me and ding the side — or run a shopping cart into it!) And as I’m sure most of you know, it’s very low to the ground. And, hello, person with back issues trying not to just fall into the car…
So by the time I got to the doctor’s, I think I was a little tense and needed the adjustment more than usual today. But got the car there and back just fine and got in and out without injuring myself. So all in all, not bad for a Monday, right?
Oh I thought I was the only one who fell into cars…I do that almost everytime I get into the dang car. The car is beautiful though.

My SUV is so much easier to get into cause it’s higher up. But, no, it’s not nearly as pretty, lol!

How terrible, having to drive such an awful car!

Haha, I know! Maybe if I drove it more I wouldn’t be nervous!

Hahaha! That’s definitely a young and limber persons car…but it seems to always be older people driving them. Youngun’s can’t afford one I suppose. 😃

Why, T, are you saying that I’m old and unlimber??? Have you been talking to my kids?? LOL, that’s exactly what they’d say…

Hahaha! Well, that didn’t go well, huh? My wife’s step-mom drove one until last year. She changed to a Subaru. She couldn’t hardly get out of it anymore! 😃

I know the feeling! Hubby still loves it and, for the record, I am getting soldered and less limber! But fighting it every day 🙂

Fight it for all that you’re worth. Giving in is not a good course of action. Take it from me. I’m a licensed therapist. Use it or lose it, man. 😃

Yes, I’m realizing now I can’t just curl up with a book like I want for hours! Still working out 3 times a week and leaving next week for Vegas where I know I’ll get to walk! In the 100 degree heat!!

That’s awesome, Dee! Keep that up. You won’t regret it. And walking in Vegas is gonna happen, but the misters will be out. They’ll keep ya’ cool. 😃

Thanks on the car. It’s going to be a classic someday! I do love the color, it’s like the old Candy Apple Red. But it’s hubby’s baby and when the kids argue teasingly about who will inherit it, I always tell them to get in line. Behind me. My back is doing well. Love the adjustments.

Every week should have back and toe pampering! But I’d have to roll out of the Vet too. That’s a low rolling vehicle.

Yep, getting too old for this. But love the back adjustments!

I know what you mean – I never wanted to be the one who got the first dent!

I know! I had a gorgeous Chevy Lumina van years ago, almost that same color red, and a few months after we had it, I pulled into the garage and caught the corner of the table saw. It had a lightning bolt on it forever, lol. I cried that day, even though hubby assured me it wasn’t that bad…

It’s getting there. A lifelong problem, really, that flares up occasionally. I am appreciating the chiropractic adjustments but I know I’ll have to exercise forever to keep it better!

Oooh fun! I would want to have equal time in a car like that! 🤩

Hubby wouldn’t care, except in the winter. He thinks I wouldn’t handle it well — although I grew up driving rear wheel cars, cause that’s what we had. But it’s his baby, lol.

I feel like I’m sitting on the pavement when I’m in a low car. It totally freaks me out! I don’t know if I could get used to driving that.

Once I’m in, I’m okay. But literally lowering myself so as not to hurt my back is interesting! And I’m not a car person really, so I’m nervous driving it. And I swear people just challenge you to go fast, always trying to speed around me, lol.

That’s true. My mom used to have a low car and I did not enjoy driving it!

It’s great that you have such a positive attitude, Dee! Even though I’m sure you’re in pain and it must be nerve-wracking driving your hubby’s posh car. Hope your back gets better fast.

Hahaha, thanks! That car is his baby and I don’t want to be the one to dent it! My back is doing great, btw, thank you for asking 🙂
