This is my usual Me & JP page and a special bonus A to Z Challenge story. JP is our youngest grandson who turned five in September. He and his mom and dad lived with us while they were building their house a year ago. Though they’ve moved into their new house now, we still get to pick him up from preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays and spend the afternoon with him. Next year he’ll be in kindergarten all day. He’s so full of fun and remarkably wise for his years! JP loves to talk about how old everyone in the family is all the time, which, frankly, can be depressing, LOL…
But he’s only five and I’m sure everyone seems so much older than him, even the other grandchildren. His two grandpas are a little more than a year apart in age and my hubby is the older of the two.
So naturally, his other grandpa, Papa B., likes to tease because he is younger. Here’s how one of those talks went recently…
JP: You’re kind of old, aren’t you, Papa?
Papa B.: Well, maybe a little old. But you know who’s even older than me?
JP: Is it Jesus?
(Bah bump bump!)
