I’ve heard…

that people begin to look like their pets over time.  Well, I have two dogs.  Two very different breeds.

This is a picture of me from about 15 months ago.

And this is my oldest dog, Chief, a Chow/terrier mix.

This is me now, my hair growing back after chemo.

And this is my other dog, Inga, a Norwegian Elkhound.

Coincidence?  What do you think?  😀

    1. Aww, you’re sweet. I don’t hate it as much anymore. I don’t know if I will go back to coloring, highlighting, straightening, etc. So much time and money spent on my hair!

      2. Thank you, love. I’m supposed to wait a year before coloring, straightening, etc. so I’ve got till January to see what happens. I actually have some hair that is white on the ends and dark at the roots so it’s recovering and I don’t know what to expect!

    1. Thanks, T. Right now it’s still doing what it wants. I actually have some hairs that are white on the ends and dark at the roots, I guess as the follicles recover. But it’s nice to wash and just let it go!

    1. Thanks, D. I do love the ease of the hair. My babies are both turning 14 this year! So I guess it’s only fair I have Inga hair for awhile!

      1. I am considering cutting my hair, although I love it (down to my waist), it’s a pain to keep. I really like the shorter hair on you!!

    1. I don’t hate it anymore. The best I can say is I love the ease of washing and — that’s it, I’m done! No color, highlights, drying, straightening, etc. I should be rich with all that money I’m saving 🙂

  13. This post made me smile. I don’t have any pets right now but my wardrobe did always resemble my cat. He was a black cat. (Of course!) 🙂

    1. Oh, aren’t you sweet! Unfortunately, my Inga passed away from cancer in late October. However, we still have Chief, the golden chow/terrier mix! Thanks so much for stopping by!
