Holy Skyscraper, Batman…

Tell me this doesn’t look just like Batman in the Lego Movie? Its the AT&T Building in downtown Nashville!

  1. Oh, you poor things. Driving through Nashville is a true test of ones patience. When it comes to delay and traffic jam due to road work, Nashville is the new Atlanta. 😃

    1. Haha, wasn’t bad this trip. But we always come north of Nashville on Monday so we can leave early Ties to drive back and avoid rush hour there!

      1. This year we thought why don’t we ever go farther Monday night? It would make Tuesday a lot shorter ride!

      2. I hear ya’. Bowling Green has decent options, and further north, elizabethtown isn’t too bad. The shorter that last days drive is, the better. 😃

      1. Excellent! Hope you had a good time! How did the cake turn out? 😀

      2. The cakes were beautiful and tasty, not a bit left over. We had the picnic at a lake and it was fun, weather cooperated and the little ones all went swimming!

      4. It was a really enjoyable weekend. I’ve learned to just ignore all the family drama and have a good time 🙂

      5. Oh family drama- I hear you. My SIL is always sure to deliver… H and I call ourselves Switzerland – always neutral!

      6. We try, too. It’s hard with a big family sometimes, but life is too short not to get past any petty stuff. Most of our kids and grandkids were there, so I was happy 🙂

    1. Oh, my, Nashville is fun! Very popular place now. We drive through it on every TN trip. How are you, Robert? Just got home yesterday from our Memorial Day reunion.

      1. Okay, you might have to unpack some of that for me. 🙂 What’s a TN trip? What’s a Memorial Day reunion? (sorry to be so thick)
As for me – up and down as usual – you know me. Communicative one day and then lost to the world for … ooo, ages!
Just took the wife on a trip (or maybe she took me) to the little town where I was born and raised and showed her all the places I used to play. She arranged for us to stay in this lovely hotel out in the countryside. Just down the road there was a house for sale for one and a half million pounds and she’s, like that’d be nice for us to buy’ and I’m thinking ‘yeah, sure – there’s just the small matter of the money!’ Still, it was a lovely couple of days. 🙂

      2. Sounds lovely, the house especially 🙂 nice to dream, tho. TN is Tennessee where we go most Memorial Day weekends for hubby’s family reunion. Most of his family still lives there. I apologize, I forget not everyone remembers things I’ve written about before!

      3. Take That stayed at Whitley Hall (our hotel) at the same time as us. They were doing a couple of gigs in Sheffield. 🙂
Thanks for your gracious comment there. You could well have said that some people don’t read everything you’ve written. 😦
        Thanks for explaining. 🙂

      7. I missed them when they were first famous actually. I joined a weird sex cult. 🙂

      11. By the time I reached the lower echelons I could sense people in a crowd with my eyes bound, see music and hear my own heartbeat (not as easy as it sounds). To get any higher I needed to get married to someone else in the cult and start in with tantric sex.
