Somewhere warm and tropical (But I have a feeling life would just follow me 😀 )

  9. I would not go anywhere but might fast forward through winter, Dee! Lol 😀 I hope your life is getting back on track and not still dealing with the you know what. So scary when I get busy and miss my friends.
I had an accident at work dropped a 50 pound tote of auto parts on top of my left foot and then for a week didn’t have a car! Not nearly the same as cancer not as long as you have had to endure, dear. ❤ xoxoxo

    1. Oh, I’m doing pretty well, Robin, had my final surgery yesterday to just put in permanent implant. But how is your foot?? Did it break bones? I cannot imagine how that hurt!! Feel better soon, my friend! And how is your mom doing?

      1. Dee, I am fine, bruised and nothing broken. Thanks for asking, dear! ❤
The doctor at workman's comp was so nice and she said that contusions should always be checked and sometimes she keeps the "case" open for 60 days in case of embolisms being loosened. I have those thick, ropey veins and am blessed that nothing else serious happened. (I'm a klutz!)
Are you in pain from this recent surgery? sending you gentle hugs xo

      2. Yes, you should have run when you could!! Although in the SW suburbs of Chicago, we got some snow and expecting some more, but not too drastic…

      3. It turned out to be not bad here, either – maybe a few inches, but nothing I can’t deal with (I did almost get stuck at my parents’ house – they have a long driveway and it hadn’t been plowed. But I got out, so all is well!).

      4. Oh, I’m glad. We only got about 3 inches but I saw on the news that some northern Chicago suburbs had about 9 inches of snow. At least it won’t last!

  15. Yeah… someone else said… I’d go to the past and fix some sh*t. Alternatively, I’d go to some island somewhere where I can have peace and quiet and sunshine and several hot surfer boyfriends and… I could go on.

I would go somewhere where it isn’t 70 degrees one day and snowing the next. I like seasons that slowly evolve and morph…not change in 24 hours time!!!
