Monday Musings on Getting Lei’d…

Start with a luau (Old Lahaina Luau is one of the more authentic shows on Maui; my group wanted drama so we picked one that had a silly MC and fire dancers) 😉

Drink mai tais or Blue Hawaiians or even Bikini Blonde;

Try lots of food from the buffet, but skip the poi, which is grayish purple, made from taro, and tastes like you would imagine wallpaper paste does;

Relax and enjoy the show…

    1. Hahaha, I even skip the lomi lomi and whenever someone goes with us who’s never been, they always want to see a luau. I think I’ve been to all of them on Ka’anapali!
