      1. Looking back at what I wrote, I see I was too devastated by grief to remember to put a comma between barren and spinning!

        Incidentally, school plays can be hilarious, can’t they? Sometimes the laughs are intentional and sometimes they’re not, but either way, they make for a fun night out. 🙂
