My Blue-Eyed Warrior…

knight-930817_1920

Would that I could conjure you, fierce knight,
Hear your vow to stay beside me in my dreams
Slay my dragons as I sleep and
Put my world to rights instead of wrongs

Stay with me, my blue-eyed warrior,
A break from your tribulations
I beg that you not leave me now
There will be time for quests anon

Allow not the trials of life to creep in
Love me to my soul, as I love you
I have woven us a soft blanket of gossamer peace
That we might spend our nights entwined as one…

Yup. All the good ones are taken, too old or too young, in a different state or continent. I think I need to move to a new state every couple years 😁

Or just scared that I know what I want from life. Most guys these days don’t have their act together until later in life. It’s sad that they seem to not want to grow up!
