Wonderful poem! I remember my first solo sail out into the wild Gulf, the waves tossed my poor little sail boat like a stick. It was terrifying and then I saw a gull floating peacefully in a valley between waves. How comforting. Your poem brought that image back to mind. Powerfully! Thank you.

We love ‘looking’ at the sea, but once we dive in, its power can be overwhelming. Metaphorically, the same with “life.” Great job.
