Pull Me Under…

wave-384385_1920

Dark tendrils unfurl
Clutching and grasping
Rolling waves of doubt
Stir the sea
Soothing water
Breaks into wild surf

Hope floats gently on the surface
of calm waters of deception
Evil lurks beneath
Fight to stay afloat
Desperately swimming for safety
Save me …

      1. Smiling. Thank you. Why are you mentioning it now? I have spent two F%&^%#$^*(*^&KING days with lawyers. So, I am days behind in answering my comments, I am trying to catch up on my reading. Sigh.

Thanks for the encouragement. I need to hear this. Thank you.

      3. Yeah, this one is dragging on like the Energizer bunny. I have been advised it may end before the year is over. I hope so. Tired of this crap.

Yeah, normally I am quick to response. I still haven’t responded to all my comments from Monday. Sigh.

The Chimp has become a bad blogger.

  8. Wonderful poem! I remember my first solo sail out into the wild Gulf, the waves tossed my poor little sail boat like a stick. It was terrifying and then I saw a gull floating peacefully in a valley between waves. How comforting. Your poem brought that image back to mind. Powerfully! Thank you.
