Hit the snooze bar to turn off the beep
All day long I wish I could sleep
Until night finally falls
And my comfy bed calls
Where I lie awake counting sheep…

That was fun, but I’ve had other stuff in between too. Hopefully I’ve got a job now (just waiting on references) 🙂

Yay!! OMG, that’s wonderful, Al!! I’m so happy for you, but hope you’ll still find a little time to blog 😀

I’ll blog, but not as much. Have got about 20 poems/stories already written and awaiting publishing on my blog, for one!

Wonderful, and are you still going ahead with your zombie manual? I need to buy one, you know, for the apocalypse…

That apocalypse may be coming sooner than I thought! Things stalled a little on the book front, but I haven’t forgotten 🙂

I saw a tip the other night when I was awake at wee hours. It was on wellnessmama.com. A spoonful of raw honey with salt on top. It WORKED!
Also, another trick I heard is to breath in to the count of 4, hold it 7 counts, and exhale for 8 counts. It works pretty good, too. Zzzzzz!

Someone here told me about magnesium supplements and I just saw that in a magazine article. I think I might have some. But I also have honey and salt! Thanks, Jess 🙂

Mmmmm – glad !
And just an idea – but i know some folks who insist magnesium is helpful for so many things – especially sleep – and this drink called “CALM” has changed lives – it never did much for me – oh and amino acids and enzyme supplements help some folks too! 🌸

Thanks, great suggestions. I think I bought magnesium supplements, then I forget to take them 🙂 I’m really sensitive to caffeine too and have to be careful not to have it after breakfast…

Yes – I have heard that w caffiene too – and not to offer too many tips here – so this is the last one (k?) but some nutritionists suggest doing a few intestinal cleanses – and supplementing with enzymes and amino acids – (especially orthinine – but a good mix of BCAA is ideal) and esp us women – a good protein powder upon rising and before bed can do wonders for restful sleep-
And there are sooooooo many Options for cleansing and I have used health plus inc for my fav stuff -(under 15 $) but in 2006 “bodyredesigning.com” changed my life and their cleanse is sixty bucks and is amazing –
Anyhow – sending you a blog hug ☀️☀️

Hey, thanks for all the info. I’m not sure I should do a cleanse, I’ll talk to my doctor. I have used protein powders sometimes. What brand do you recommend and what do you mix it with? I’m always interested in suggestions, appreciate all your ideas! 🙂

How darling! Isn’t it funny how we can barely drag out selves to bed, and then lay there… For seemingly ever.. Maybe it’s a mom thing. I once tried counting bleats but they sounded like the kids were up again!. 😀

I definitely think it’s a mom thing. I can be asleep on my feet and my head hits that pillow an my eyes are wide open!
