Very superstitious, writing on the wall
Nothing supernatural about the scrawl
Nope, it’s not Stevie Wonder
But it was a big blunder
To let the kids have crayons in the hall!

In fact, recently I purchased some crayons that were made for coloring on glass windows, like the sliding doors onto the porch. My grandson had a ball creating on them and, after all was appropriately acclaimed as “Grand” we could wipe it off without difficulty. Incredible what changes have taken place over the last 30 years or so!

Ha! Been there done that. We finally painted walls with chalkboard paint. Boom! Problem solved. Well, at least that problem. 😃

That doesn’t scare me. When we bought our place, every room had 80 year-old wallpaper. Stripping that shit was the worst job EVER! 😃

Oh, that would be awful. Not too fond of wallpaper myself. Youngest had a sports theme room and in Chicago that’s red and black walls yay 😉

When it comes right down to it, none of us could possibly deny this. I mean, whenever one hears, “Hey, watch this”, there’s no question it’s a man, and impending danger and likely injury are at hand. What can we say? 😁

OMG, 3 yr old grandson today crawling on the edge of the brick fire pit (no fire) at his parents, yelling “Watch this Daddy,” while I have visions of trip to the ER after he falls either into the pit or onto the brick patio!

I don’t believe in it either, but I remembered back to sportier days and some of my team mates and their odd little rituals… always wearing their lucky socks, putting their socks and boots on in a specific order, leaving the changing room either first or last, touching the posts when we ran onto the pitch… there seemed to be no end to it for some!

My daughter drew on walls, chairs, books, etc., when she was two and we knew it was her because she signed everything. The only letters she could write were O and T, so she’s sign her art OTO.
It was her nickname for several years. 🙂

This made me smile… I occasionally still have crayon to clean, but usually it’s on a table, not a wall… and it’s more often markers or pencil… and Magic Eraser exists now, so it’s all good… takes mere seconds to clean… 😀
