It’s interesting to me how some of us love the structure, some loathe it, and others (like me) like it some days and not others. It IS good to have constraints, but especially with haiku there is so much weight in each word! I need to do more limericks too, those are indeed fun. 🙂

It is interesting. I’ve not written that much poetry since school and I feel lost without the structure. Most of my poetry sounds juvenile to my ears, but I’m trying to put more out there, along with fiction. Spreading my wings, so to speak! 🙂

Beautiful! I seem to remember you saying you weren’t as comfortable with poetry…yet everything I’ve read by you contradicts that sentiment. Nice job with the Haiku!
