Yes, dad passed away in 2000 after their 50th anniversary, mom passed away a couple of years ago.

Oh, sorry, should have said would have been their anniversary. Dad died in 2000 and mom a few years ago, but they made it to their 50th!

So sad but very sweet at the same time. I love it. This summer would have been my parents’ 50th anniversary… but Dad passed away in 2012. Mom… still here. This is lovely to celebrate your parents’ anniversary. ♥

I feel the same way about having 3 sisters (even though one is a wackjob and doesn’t speak to us). But it’s nice to have them… sometimes. 🙂

Took me awhile to find it. I always get an idea in my head of what I want to write, then have to find the pix. I should find the picture first, it would be easier!
