Old Memories…

old woman mirror

In her mind’s eye she’s young and she’s fair

Her days move along with nary a care

Nights she’s entwined with a handsome lover.

But she’s old and alone and has been forever

She sits and she cries, whose memories are in there?

  8. What a great write. You need to do more poetry. I think you have yet to discover your writing talent. You have only flashed the tip of the ice berg.

    1. You are so sweet! Poetry usually makes me uncomfortable unless I have structure like a limerick to follow. Otherwise my poetry seems childish to me. But I will try. Thanks for being so supportive and encouraging ❤
