Reading is one of the greatest gifts we can give to our children. Sometimes, I fear it is going out of style. Here in NY I uised to watch people reading books on the bus and subways and in the parks. Don’t see as much of that anymore. Nice write.

Thanks, Drew. I mostly read on my tablet rather than actual books anymore but I’d choose reading over TV or a movie any day. Sadly, I think it is going out of style sometimes…

My daughter has tried to taslk me into purchasing a Kindle (to help me with my blurred vision). I have been resistant. Yeah, people (especially the coming generations) are too hooked with TV, cable, Hulu, the internet. Reading isn’t what it used to be.

Oh, I think you would love a Kindle. It’s the only way Paul will read because he needs to make the print larger and a lot of books don’t come in large print. I like it cause I can download library books or from the publishers. There’s a night read feature that makes the screen black w/ white print. I do most blogging on there, too. Wow, I sound like I’d get a commission if you buy one, don’t I? Lol

I love when I am so taken in by a book that I forget I’m supposed to be sleeping… Like during that phase I went through when I was reading 3 or 4 books a week! Haha 😀 Yeah, I have a life. lol

I’ve stayed up all night cause I had to finish a book before! Those are the really good ones. Now I try to make a game, like if I do 30 minutes on the treadmill, I can read something I want…

Oh, that’s a great idea. Perhaps I’m going for an extra long walk today while my father-in-law takes my vacationing kids out for lunch. Then I won’t feel guilty about anything. Maybe. LOL
