This was too perfect to pass up. Yes, I’ll be exactly that old on my birthday…

I must be getting my second wind. I can start a movie at 9.30 now and still be awake at the end. 🙂 Mind you, it depends on the movie. 🙂

I’m usually asleep by 11, unless it’s one of those insomniacs nights and then I could have watched two movies!

I used to be like that but I think I’ve turned into a night owl!

I think I might be just a little bit older than you! But either I fall asleep early or I can hardly fall asleep 🙂

The latter is my problem. 😕

Haha I know exactly what you mean. But now there are options to recording the program.

Yes! But we even debate about watching a recording too late! I’m either asleep quickly or lie awake for hours, no happy medium…

I am the exact same way. Some nights I can easily stay awake until 3 AM other night I am out by 830 PM.

One of my friends says we should have some sort of system to alert each other when we’re awake and then we could talk w/o disturbing the spouses 🙂

LOL True. I attach a keyboard to my laptop that is very quiet to let my spouse sleep. In the mornings, I go to the livingroom to start my blogging day. Sleep should be respected.

Hahaha! I have to say, I’m a night owl since becoming unemployed… I can start a movie at 11pm… even midnight… 😀 But when I was working, I was in bed by midnight… 1 AM at the latest.

Oh, my, even in college I’m not sure I stayed out really late! I’m always a pretty early riser

I used to sleep in when I could… but now, I just get by on less sleep because, you know, children. I’m sure I don’t get enough sleep now… it’s something I should probably address… LOL

Now I’m either asleep early or driving myself crazy cause I can’t fall asleep…no happy medium. Have you been out of work long?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Yes… I got laid off longer ago than I even care to admit! To be fair, the plan was originally for me to take a few months off… but it’s been uhh more than a few…. To bad we’re not loaded… LOL

Have you entered any poetry or writing contests? I think your work that you’ve posted is superb…
LikeLiked by 1 person
I haven’t. I have heard this from a few others — enter contests, try to get something into some sort of publication. Not sure where to even begin with that (other than Google). I’ve never looked into it because I think I just assumed I would fail. I know, I am far too negative!

No, I think it’s a natural feeling of not wanting to be rejected. I haven’t done it either and I keep telling myself I will after I practice more! I’ll send you links when I see them. I’ve decided I’m going to try a few this year just to see what kind of feedback I get. It will be good for us!

I agree — it will be good. I’m only guaranteeing failure by not even trying. Even though rejection sucks. But writers get a lot of that!

There’s something about sitting on that sofa… If I’m out doing something fun? Up all night! But home in front of the TV, forget it!

Heehehe 😀 This reminded me of my mom 😀 Though my sis and I would make her watch it anyway only to find her drowsing in the middle and when we nudge her, she gets up and tries to convince us she was very well awake stating some scenes from the movie(which has gone long past) only to get drowsing off again 😀 We did not force her after a couple of times this happened 🙂 Changed the timing to morning in weekends 😛
