#atozchallenge, B is for Birthday Week…

and balloon bouquets in April, when my two sons and I celebrate our special days.  Our birthdays are April 26, 27 and 29th.  And the 29th could have been the 28th if he’d just hurried up a little. Second son was born at 1:05 a.m., but it did give Dr. Van, my OB-GYN doc, time to go home in the early evening to see his little girl and share her birthday cake on April 28th.  So it all worked out for the best!

Next to Christmas, Birthday Week is by far our biggest family holiday. Poor hubby, he’s a January baby and sometimes feels a little left out. He doesn’t like to admit it, but we April babies know…

  1. This is a sweet post. Babies take their time in making an appearance when they are cocooned in there 😊 You are doing well with the challenge.

  9. Happy Birthday to all! Those dates being so close… And almost in a row…wow. What a fun week it must be!

My oldest sister was born on my dad’s birthday. One of my other sisters is one day off from my 2 cousins who are brothers who have the same birthday, one year apart.

Oh… and my daughter’s is the reverse of mine — I am 6/11, she is 11/6.

But you’re week sounds so fun!

      2. I know. You probably have to work to keep it separate from the holidays, right?

      3. Yeah…It’s kind of crazy. Worse for my son… 3 weeks after Xmas. No one knows what to get him because he just got it all… and holiday recovery is still going on…lol

      4. 🙂 hubby has a granddaughter whose birthday is 1/3 and I try not to take some Christmas gifts and make them birthday gifts! Or celebrate it all at one time — unfair!

      5. It’s hard! I usually over-buy for Xmas so I have stuff for his birthday without having to shop much…again. But very separate celebrations. 🙂

  13. Happy upcoming Birthdays!! Especially for you, the 2 sons’ mother! 😀
Wishing you a wonderful month and year, Diane. ❤
We just completed our second most busy birthday time: 2 were born on 2/27, brother 57 years ago, grandson 7. My niece's son born on March 1st, granddaughter born on March 3. (Total = 4)
In November it is Mom turns 88 on 11/1, grandson turns 12 on 11/4, I turn 61 in here, sister in law turns 69 on 11/19 and granddaughter has b'day around Thanksgiving. Phew! That makes five plus holiday to plan party around.

    1. Wow, your family could have spaced things out a little more, lol! Neither of my boys was supposed to be that close to mine. One was 9 days late, the other 3 weeks early. Just like them to steal my thunder! Thanks for the wishes!!
