Birth…A Lighthearted Limerick

If not for birth, where would we be?

Still stuck inside the mama’s tummy,

First we were sunshine in the sky,

Then a little twinkle in daddy’s eye,

Now a wondrous gift for all to see!

      1. They do have that power! Later on, when they’re 13, not so much. 😀

      2. Stick around, it gets worse before it gets better, lol. Then, if you’re lucky, you get a grandchild and they’re the best!!

  8. Hi. I’ve got a website featuring my own writing, but have a section for other writers’ that I like, I wondered if it would be okay to put your poem on there? I would of course credit you and put a link back to your blog. Here’s the address, http://www.writerhaven.co.uk in case you want to take a look before deciding.
